These remixes were done a long time ago but i never got around to posting them. Now that the song is kinda played out I thought it was the right time to put em up...hahaa. I actually made 4 remixes for this track but here are the best two featuring the Surprise Riddim and the Playground Riddim. Since these are a lil old I thought I'd post the first ever Rasklatt Remix I ever did as a lil bonus. The Tipsy Remix featuring Baby Cham and Beenie Man came out in 2004, long before serato, and is probably one of the best ones I've done. Grab em...lots more to come.

Expect a party every week with Tanner and guests playing the best of Electro and Hip Hop the right way so you and yours can get your party on every week.

This night has been crazy and with Ottawa's Red Bull + 4time DMC champ DJ Kid SL with Tanner on July 22nd this will quickly become your new weekly party spot for those long ass work/study weeks we all have to do.

Summer is in full swing and you can find The Faction all over the globe! With Dj Arems in Japan for the weekend, Tanner and I took an unforgettable road trip to the lakeside city of Vernon, BC. It was a Saturday Night and Club MoeJoe's - Vernon was in for some Faction destruction! We were lucky enough to be helping them celebrate their 1 year Anniversary as the official anniversary Party had went down on the Thursday night before we got there and featured Dj Cheapshot from the underground rap group Styles of Beyond.

The night was insane and MoeJoe's is no joke! The club features private rooms with stripper poles, 2 levels and a huge dance floor that rivals any big Vancity club. Tanner turned the party out from the moment he hit the decks and the crowd was buck-wildin all night. It was an unforgettable night and we look forward to rollin through Vernon again soon. Big shouts to Jeff & Georgie, Mikey, Dj Spincredible and all the staff MoeJoe's - Vernon.

Faction Sound Crew Featured in Utherverse's Virtual Vancouver

There's a lot of people out there that have been living a separate life on the internet as of late through social networking sites and virtual reality worlds. Utherverse has combined the two to create a Face Book like site where you can set up a page and virtual character that may or may not look like you and travel through different cities and worlds. So far Utherverse has 4 million registered users and is currently upgrading their servers to keep up with the demand. We were lucky enough to be asked to provide some music for some of the clubs in Utherverse's Virtual Vancouver and you can now hit the clubs virtualy from the comfort of your own home and STILL get down with The Faction. When you click on the posters of us, the site takes you to this blog so you can download the mixtapes you were hearing. Almost every single Rasklatt Remix has been for the club but this one is for the heads. Demarco's new Big Chune "True Friend" is in heavy rotation on the dancehall scene already so i was happy to find the accapella and put it over one of my favourite instrumentals of all time - Nas's "New York State of Mind." Two giant parties go down this weekend in celebration of the release of the Chillin, Illin and Grillin Mix Cd. Faction Sound Crew's East Coast Weekend!

Damn! I know it's been a long ass time since we updated the blog but it's been an insane month and it's been hard to keep up. Thought we'd squeeze in one or two more before May ends tho. As many of you know, the 2009 Stylus DJ Awards are happening June 1st 2009 in Toronto and The Faction is in the T-Dot soaking up the festivities and playing some big parties as well. You're too late to catch us at Guverment as it went down last night (Friday May 29th) and was LARGE. Shout out to Ill Kidz, Wristpect, Hedspin, Pump, Starting From Scratch, Skratch Bastid and Jester who all did their thing. Tonight, if you are in Ontario, you've got a couple of options. Tanner will be playing at Lago in Ottawa with Kid SL for Glam Saturdays and you can catch Arems at Wet Bar/ Suite 106 in Toronto with DJ LRS.
